DZCC sweat on Razeen and Arafath

DZCC face an anxious wait to see if Mohammed Razeen the vice captain and Mohammed Arafath the Wicket keeping batsman will be fit for the next series against Deira X1 although were boosted when scans showed no major problems in the two batsmans. They are hopeful the pair will be available for the first game against DX1 on March 12 although neither will play the warm-up match starting on Wendsday.

DZCC's batting attack has been hit by a spate of injuries with Mohammed sanaz ruled out of the Matale series after aggravating a knee problem during the first game, while Razy picked up his finger problem during the second match and arafath has been struggling since arriving for the Series."Both players have back spasms as a result of batting. scans have ruled out any new acute injuries," said an DZCB statement. "Neither will be available for the warm-up game. Both will continue to undergo a programme and available for the first game upcoming week."

"It's obviously not ideal," said Mohammed Anas. "There is good news today with the scan showing no major structural damage, but we all know that backs with batsmans are very important, so we've got to work hard on those guys and keep our fingers crossed. Mohammed Fayas, who claimed a career-best in the Ajman T20, will remain on the tour as a replacement for Sanaz and was DZCC's stand-out quick during the one-day series."Fayas was fantastic," said Dasth. " he played realy well there in T20 even he have make a good partnership with me for sharing 57 runs, and its helthy for middle order.so He's putting his name forward." will see whats going to happen next week.
