Aggressive bowling won it for DZCC

Mohammed Dasthakir, the Dubai Zahirians captain, has singled out his team's aggressive bowling as the factor that clinched a 27-run win in Wonderland, which gave the visitors an unassailable lead in the -match. Raffals put in a spirited performance with the bat, bowling out Dubaizahirians for 133/9 in a must-win game because last year they have lost, but capitulated during the chase in the wake of attacking bowling from Mohammed Haithar, Mohammed Faris and Mohammed Nazeer, who shared Seven wickets between them.

"The bowlers today must take the credit. They bowled with real aggression and intensity and today it's their win," Dastha said after the match. "I thought we let ourselves down [with the bat] with some poor middle order cricket, especially in the last 2 overs - a bit of awareness levels and making some bad decisions under pressure. But we knew the wicket had a bit in for the bowlers."A lot of guys actually look up to me to try and give them a good start. But if that doesn't happen they should put their hands up and be counted."

Big Picture
It is a very different DZCC side that will take the field on friday to the one that was chasing Mohammed Siraj around the Jumirah park. For starters the last tour isn't there, having been rested along with Mohammed Rikaz, and three of the likely starters at WLP's weren't in the while a fifth, Mohammed Riyas, was a drinks carrier. Mohammed Dasthakir is again to lead the side for the first time since April last week after the Shiba riders tour as is his Deputy Mohammed Razeen who also join after long time to the squad on this trip.

The squad rotation is with a view to finding out about a few younger players with Mohammed Riyas, Ayyub padladka and Mohammed Nawshard at the head of that list as Selecters adds to his options. This tour has to be viewed as another learning experience for the team and they are going to have to adjust to conditions if they want to be a force in the future games.

Watch out for...
Mohammed Hillal has made his name in the limited-overs game with a series of matchwinning innings last month in same venue. The challenge for Hillal is to focus his energy into building long innings, although one match against Raffals won't push him to his limits.

Mohammed Razeen another zahirian to watch Debute after a big break. such a blaster ever seen in DZCC history also the man who deputy of the club. can ball river swings when they need a break. Moahmmed Tamim the raffals all-rounder, He was the stand-out performer when the two sides met earlier this year and if he can continue that form in this conditions his reputation will be further enhanced.

Team news
Although this would be a good chance to experiment with four bowlers, it seems likely DZCC will stick to their preferred route of a batting-heavy line-up which means a debut for Riyas ahead of Razeen,Ayyub and Nawshard.

Dubai Zahirians (probable) : Dasthakir, Razeen, Ayyub, Nawshard, Riyas, Haithar, Faris, Fayas, Hillal, Rifas and Rimaz

Pitch and conditions
The recent heatwave in WLP has abated to be replaced by more not normal conditions with hot wind. DZCC's pace attack won't mind overhead conditions to help them and there is a chance of some dust during the weekend.which should encouraged batsmen and bowlers who are good enough to take advantage.

Quotes
"I'm really excited to play at WLP's in a match. It will be a dream come true and I really want to play, because I don't know when I'll get another chance." Rifas says to webpage on monday.

Focused Ayyub prepares for action

Ayyub Padladka says DZCC are fully focused on ending their poor record in May, and believes they have the strength in depth to cope with all conditions they will face in the coming fortnight in the Wonderland park.

"I don't want to waste my runs in the warm-ups, but it's always good to get them under the belt, and I hope to put in a good performance on friday. As a team, we are aware of our shortcomings in Turfball cricket, but we've played a lot in UAE cricket in the last couple of years, and we know we've got the resources to take it on this year and win."

so this friday i got lot prepares and responsbility to do something with my hand to dubai zahirians, main cause we are going to playing with out few outstanding players last months ago.Siraj,Nazreen,Rikaz and Arafath are left out for rest it mean youngstars need to perporm well to get home DZCC on wonderland park this friday night.

Ayyub Padladka the Dubai zahirians Middle order batsman and part time seamer have scored 576 runs in 21 short format games in 22.30 avvarage with a one half cencury and hold 14 wickets well.so selecters keep lot faith on him to make better perpormens in WLP.

'Important for seamers to retain focus' - Dasthakir

Mohammed Dasthakir the Dubai Zahirians Skipper, has said it is important for pace bowlers to maintain their focus in the wake of early success and fame. Speaking to there official web page last night, Skipper said it was difficult for DZCC's fast bowlers to make the transition from domestic to Divison cricket, especially when playing hard truf's, and added that fear of injury and the urge to play on a long-term basis could be reasons for many promising seamers to cut down on their pace after the first few weeks.

"Focus is surely important, but again everyone lives their own personal life as well. As long as he knows the thin line between foolishness and bravery, that is very important," Dasthakir said. "If you have a mentor or someone is looking up for you, with so much of fun and entertainment involved, if there is one coach or family member, who actually keeps an eye on the player and if the player is ready to listen to them, you are alright. If you are talented and hardworking, nothing should bother you."

we have used 9 fast bowlers in the 21 games they have played since the start of 2010. When asked if immense pressure to perform was the reason behind many struggling to keep their places in the side, Skipper said: "Honestly, you need to be performing rather than complaining. There is stress and there is pressure, especially when you play in UAE conditions. It's actually tough to get on and start performing. It's a challenge for a fast bowler, especially in the turf ball games, but you must endure those stressful moments.," said more of the reason behind bowlers dropping in pace. "Maybe it's the fear of injury. It's always better to give your best every single day. I think that may be the reason - trying to conserve your energy for the next game than giving your best today."

A balance between both strength and skill is an important ingredient for bowling fast along with accuracy, he said. "sence is very important, strength is surely important. But if you forget your skill…..you've got to work on your wrists, on your bowling and spot-bowling. What we forget after playing for our country is the spot-bowling which we grew up with in the clubside." and now Mohammed Nazreen is exit also two new seamers have been join with us namely Mohammed Rifas and Mohammed Riyas so fast bowlers going to follow this they are surely stay in first X1 ever.

'Hopefully I can better in Future performance' - Rikaz

"It's a good way to start off the tour having practised Turf and Grass Grounds for the last few months," Mohammed Rikaz said after the match two weeks ago. "But it's only the first daynight success, and there's plenty more cricket to come, so hopefully, I can better this performance. We all know the nature of turfball cricket - the bowler is always up against it. The series could be important for the confidence of both teams after they failed to reach the semi-finals of the Srilankan tour.

"You can take five wickets one day, and the next day, take a thumping, but I enjoyed it. It was not an easy day for the batters, and you had to graft pretty hard. Playing shots was not easy, and there was a strong wind, so there were a lot of things you had to take into consideration.

"It was obviously nice to start with a win. This was the most important thing for us. We have worked really hard over the last few months here in WLP-wonderland park, had a few discussions, the energy has been good around the team, and a lot of new faces have come in. We want to have a good tour of the WLP, so success in this match was very important to getting us off on the right foot." "We still have a match on next friday night, so we have to pick ourselves up. This is no time for pointing fingers. We have a lot of corrections to make out there, and we have to return to the drawing board to try and get the best out of the players."
