The second annual season of the SUPER CUP Premier League 2012 (SCPL) - Dubai , comprising six teams and 12 matches, will begin and end in Wonder land Park, with the opening match on May 11 and the final on June 08. The teams will play each other in oppossit table during a league phase consisting of 9 games, possibly 03, venues, beginning with the defending champions Pak Guns playing Srilankan represents Dubai Zahirians on May 11/2012.

 Mohammed Arafath the DZCC wicket keeping Batsman,There was a time when he is form was the be-all and end-all for DZCC, suprise he is back after 10 months.when he isn't making the batsman's life a misery. He admits it has been difficult readjusting following the first long-term Failure of his career and was denied the chance to relieve some frustrations when runs washed out DZCC's net session at Wonderland Park last week.I'm doing everything I can to get myself back to where I was. However, one player who probably won't mind some extra time to put his feet up is

"It's always a challenge to play against better sides. This team has so much potential. Everyone has got a role, batsmen, bowlers and fielders and they all know what to do. If plan A doesn't work the captain is there to implement plan B. We have to take key points and work to that."Though progress has been smooth, DZCC are not without dilemmas. The first is a pleasant, selectorial one. Mohammad Razeen & Mohammed Rikaz has yet to play a part in the last seven months.

Now I know my role a bit better," he said. "I had it set in my mind that I was going to be nice and positive through coming series because in the past in DZCC I probably wasn't as positive as I would have liked to have been.What DuabiZahirians haven't done, however, is beat a top side in nearly two years. "Winning is a habit," said Arafath. "We're aware that we've come close recently. It's the key moments in games that we've let slip. But we have been creating opportunities to win."Hopefully I'll win one more tournement we can keep table again in UAE," he said with a smile.

finally he said, "But the best advice I got was when I was told that when I started playing cricket I did so as I loved the game. At that point I wasn't thinking of playing for Zahira and so why think about it now, I was asked. That set me thinking and slowly I regained my confidence and got back to normal.""That was something I found it tough to deal with initially but slowly got used to that as well and started to enjoy my batting once again."

Both Shiba Riders and Dubai Zahirians are on the upswing, with victories from their most recent games, but Dubai Zahirians are in a better position, playing with three fast bowlers and three all-rounders.on the Shiba Riders view They are back at there home Nad-al-Shiba, The fast trio of Mohammed Hillal, Mohammed Irshad and Mohammed Shuhaib exploited a fast, turning pitch, to keep Ajman SC two weeks ago down to 126 in 14 overs. With Mohammed Razeen,Mohammed Nazeer and Malinga to back to squad, Dubai Zahirians look a strong bowling unit.

and Dubai Zahirians side will be without the allrounder, Mohammed Izzath and Batsman Mohammed Shamil due to there Vacation.Ayyub Padladka ruled out due to shoulder injury.A series that was expected to be all one-way traffic is now level at both teams view, with DZCC having already achieved their pre-tour ambition of winning a Series in out side the home. After basking in one of their greatest victories, Zahirians have now scaled up their goal to a series win in Nad-al-Shiba against Shiba Riders SC. The last success came about through significant contributions from many of their players - Mohammed Hillal and Mohammed Irshad making good contribution.That's something they need to repeat in Nad-al-Shiba if they are to pose a challenge to  SRSC, who remain favourites despite the home debacle.

Mohammed Razeen, the Dubai Zahirians Valuble all-rounder and formar vice captain has returned to the squad in April while his team-mate, all-rounder and former captain Mohammed Nazeer has also won a place in the 15-man pool for the tour of Nad-al-Shiba in April last week this year. and the another experiance all-rounder Mohammed Rikaz also named in the squad.mohammed razeen have been in srilanka for more then nine months.

The trio take the place of fast bowler Mohammed Hillal, middle-order batsman Ayyub Padladka and Mohammed Rafeek, who were part of Zahirians squad for the two big matches against Shiba Riders CC in two weeks."The squad we have selected sees the return from vacation of Mohammed Razeen," Mohammed Farman, the chairman of selectors, said. " [It] includes a very good mix of experience and new young talent with mohammed Shuhaib, Mohammed Roshan, Mohammed Imran and two young fast bowlers in Irshad and Malinga." Malinga's to prominence during the WLP tour two month ago, and became the second after Ayyoub Padladka out side from zahira college cricket to represent DZCC when he played an game against lankan lions SC last january 2012.

"He is on track to be available for club cricket and possibility of being available for selection in the upcomming series." 'We've learned lessons' - Dasthakir

Mohammed Dasthakir , the dubai zahirians skipper is confident that the lessons Zahirians have learned from their tour of the Ajman CC  will stand them in good stead when they arrive in Nad-al-Shiba second week of April 2010 for two short format matches.Zahirians lost the last Match against Ajman CC in the WLP, with the home batsmen unable to counter the hosts' pace attack. But Dasthakir, the team skipper, has been encouraged by the improvement his team has shown over the course of the game and feels they will have benefited from the learning experience.

While Dasthakir accepted that Zahirians's batsmen had struggled throughout the last couple of months, he felt their improved performances since the start of the year 2012.Ayyub Padladka, for example, having averaged just 19.16 in the few months ago, bounced back with successive two half centuries in the middle of December 2010 and finished this match with an average of 26.66.Mohammed Irshad figures for the same game - 13.50 and 22.75 - tell a similar story. Mohammed Rafeek, having come into the side, also impressed with a unbeaten match-defining innings of 40 to win the second match in Janaury 2012.

"We've learned some good lessons from that game and earn experience. You can see some of the learning coming out in some of the batsmen at the moment - which is great to see - it would be very disappointing to go through those tough experiences and not come out the other side as better players, but I think some of them are coming out the other side as better players."A good example would be Ayyub Padladka who has turned round his form. He has shown us a different method in that game.played as a finisher. He has worked very hard re-jigging his method and it's nice to see that it's working for him. It's nice to see him playing as confidently as he is playing at the moment; that's great to see.

"The experience that those guys will have gained in a pressure situation against very good opposition in these conditions will be absolutely vital to their growth and to our growth as a side.and how quickly we learn - is vital to our chances in Nad-al-Shiba. it will be a different type of game and a different type pitch.So we have to make the most use of this next one and then we move on to different counditions of the game at the start of the summer. But this experience out here has been great for us."

Skipper Dasthakir said that, ''Obviously his workload over the past two years has been a lot higher - he's played for Zahirians, he's played some cricket in YBC (indian Club) as well - but he's been good considering the workload he's had,"  Roshan is hoping he can be join for the start of the April 2012, although that might be a little too ambitious.

 Nisar is likely to come in as Shamil's replacement. Nisar he is yet to open the score in wonderland, so Nisar could open the batting with Mohammed Siraj. DZCC, if they choose to go in with five bowlers, could give Irshad, Malinga, Rimaz and Rafeek to go with Hillal. Although this would be a good chance to experiment with five bowlers, it seems likely DZCC will stick to their preferred route of a bowling-heavy line-up.

Pitch and conditions
The recent heatwave in WLP has abated to be replaced by more not normal conditions with hot wind. DZCC's pace attack won't mind overhead conditions to help them and there is a chance of some dust during the weekend.which should encouraged batsmen and bowlers who are good enough to take advantage.

Siraj Aware of Fitness Challenge

 Mohammed Siraj , Dubai Zahirians wicket keeping batsman , is aware that issues regarding his weight and fitness are likely to remain throughout his domestic career but he is determined to show that he is worthy of leader.when he have secure draw the series couple of weeks ago against NICC in wonderland park.

Mohammed Siraj was handed his first call-up to a squad after 6 weeks as a replacement for Mohammed Razeen last year, following a productive few months in the short format set-up. He could yet be considered for the game in WLP although team director Mohammed Farman said Siraj still had "significant work" to do. "Fitness is a key factor and everyone has to work hard on their fitness - some more than others," Siraj said. "It's probably an issue that will stay with me, but I'm not frustrated. The more work you do, the better you feel. Hopefully I am doing the right things now."

Zahirians's top order is under pressure going into this series following their failure in the last sesson during the 5-3 compration. They were often rendered scoreless by top orders in that series. Although NICC's attack doesn't possess the same quality as before they does, the pitches, especially in wonderland, should offer assistance."Our players are capable of improving their performances against this type of bowling and being a lot better than we were against NICC. However, Siraj's batting is more of a problem, with him unable to exit the slump which worsened during the Friendly Match 2011. He scored 16 runs in that campaign and has posted 9 and 7 in the first two short format matches. "We are pretty confident that given the same opportunities Mohammed Siraj will repay us the different way. I believe he has got through to the start of the 2012 to sort it out and we are confident he well and truly will have it sorted before then."

Jet11's bowling isn't their strongest suit, though, and they are up against one of the strongest batting outfits in the UAE tournament, Dubai Zahirians. While it was expected that Mohammed Hillal and Mohammed Irshad the new commer would plaster the bowling, the surprise package has been the form of Mohammed Zahir at the top of the order. Add to that the solidity of Mohammed Siraj, the threatening presence of Mohammed Dasthakir, and the hitting of Mohammed Roshan and Mohammed Rafeek and the scale of the challenge facing Mohammed Zaneer's bowlers becomes evident. One thing the JET11 team, will remind there team of will be the inconsistency of its opponents they have alternated between victory and defeat in their past five matches against DZCC. Like Jet11 Zahirians's bowling attack is also not among the more potent ones in the last few Months, which means there could be a run-fest at the Wondreland when the two sides face off.

Team Talk
Zahirian's Frontline players haven't been as influential as the finishing recruits in most of the jet11 team. Mohammed Roshan is one who has consistently delivered, but Dasthakir will mostly have to pick the out-of-form Mohammed Nazeer and Anis-ul-Rahman. Malinga could also be needed to give the side options, especially with all the DZCC bowlers struggling.

Jet11 have to ponder whether to retain Mohammed Zaneer or to bring back Mohammed Shifan, both of whom have performed well in the Last few Months. Mohammed Rizvi hasn't had too much of an impact in the last few matches, which means Mohammed Ikram could be brought back.

Zahirian's Medium Facer Mohammed Roshan has rapidly won over the crowd with his enthusiasm and tight bowling. He has had little support from the other quicks, though, with Mohammed Irshad and Mohammed Shuhaib. In JET11 Mohammed Zaneer has had a forgettable Sesson so far, but he's one of the game's great big-match players. Last year, he stopped the in-form in the same venue, Mohammed Hillal. Can he repeat that performance again?

Captain Returns on Big Stage

The demotion of opening batsman Mohammed Shamil to the reserves and the inclusion of skipper Mohammed Dasthakir are among a host of changes in Zahirians's BIG BATTLE - 2012 squad against JET X1 Sports Club on comming friday in Wonderland Park. Zahirians's selectors have dropped four of the 15 players who were part of the last series against North Idians in same venue, demoted two to reserve status, and called up five. They also continued to not pick Anis ul Rahamn and Madhu.

Mohammed Fayas, Mohammed Ziyad, Mohammed Sanaz and Ayyup Padladka, allrounder Mohammed Rikaz and medium-pacer Mohammed Nazeer were dropped from the squad that played Last year with same oppenent. Mohammed Shuhaib and medium-pace allrounder Mohammed Roshan, who were also got  part series after selections.Mohammed Irshad and Malinga the new comming all-rounders also won there places.The selectors did not name vice-captain, but said their names would be "declared shortly". as skipper Dasthakir returns and remains same.

Dubai Zahirians With three wins in their previous four games in 2012, they are undoubtedly favourites, a concept so vital to most sporting contests, but considered taboo in the short format games. They have earned the tag, and not just through the belligerence of Mohammed Siraj. Mohammed Imran and Mohammed Rafeek have been consistent, mohammed Dasthakir has been effective in his unassuming manner, Mohammed Hillal has shown glimpses of his abilities and, perhaps, most importantly they've been relatively safe with their catching in the past tournaments plagued by poor fielding.

The zahirians selectors will also be watching closely. There is a long season ahead and a pool of reserve talent will come in handy. At least one of will be appearing in Siraj with a replacement needed for at No. 1, while there is also a batting vacancy due to Mohammed Izzath's and Mohammed Shamil's Vacation.Dubai Zahirians had announced their squad on Thursday, a day ahead of the series extended deadline for naming the 14. Mohammed Razeen, the former vice captain, and wicket keeper mohammed Arafath have also been left out of the probables. After loss the toss in 1st match zahirians put NICC to bat first,   The slow pitch and the design of the pitch, with its short square-boundaries, dictated the style of play. The new ball and semers controlled well indeed to NICC in 12 overs 131/7.in the chase Hillal made his name again in dubai zahirians how he important in team card.scored 39 in just 14 balls.but fail to finish and nobody able to follow him on his way.they manage just 119 all out in 11.2 overs

In second Match zahirians pulled to bat first with great speed start and power pack opening pair siraj and Hillal add 85 in first five overs. new ball users of NICC not on controlled with new ball. but after the good accelerate and put 129/6 in 10 overs.the NICC openers straggle start and in the middle zairians bowlers did some good jobs and end of the day its enough to won the match and tie the series.
