Mohammed Haithar has revealed that he has no intentions of changing his aggressive style of play, irrespective of the odd failure.
"When I play a cover-drive, I play it to score runs. I don't play a shot to get out. So, if the cover-drive ends up in a catch at any where, I am spared criticism. If it ends up in the hands at covers, I am slammed. The shot attempted has remained the same, only the mode of dismissal is different," Haithar told the Officical Site.
"My style is my strength. It is my natural game. That is how I grew up and scored most of my runs. I have matured in my shot selection but will not discard my style. I don't believe in wasting balls," Haithar said.
Haithar thanked the Dubai zahirians captains he has played under for their backing over the year. "I have been lucky to receive encouragement from all my captains [Mohammed Nazeer, Mohammed Razee and Mohammed Dasthakir]. They have always insisted on having me in the team and that means a lot to me."While he has scored runs at a fast clip - with strike-rates of 160.87 per 100 balls in Short Format, and 121.51 in T-20 - Haithar admitted that he has become more patient of late. "Sort of patient. Actually, I have become careful in my shot selection. I am neither over-defensive nor extra-aggressive.
Bowling attacks have tried to work him out over the year, by denying him room outside the off stump, and by bowling short, into his body, but Haithar has managed to find ways to score. "It is a mind game and I am good at it. I create shots to beat the field. Run-making has become tough,". Haithar said he was aware of the thin line separating success and failure, and it boiled down to how one chose to look at things. "Half empty or half full. A cover-drive for four or disaster. Praise will come when you do well. So, be prepared for brickbats when you fail. You are learning from both. Success prepares me well for the failures," he said.
Dubai Zahirians replace Nazreen again with Ziyad
Mohammed Nazreen, the Dubai Zahirians fast bowler, has been drafted in by DZCB as a replacement for the injured Mohammed Ziyad, who was ruled out of the 2010 season Start of Dubai Zahirians Domestic Cricket. Mohammed Nazreen will join the team again after his recover on April 2.
Mohammed Farman, the DZCC's chief executive, had confirmed the news to Zahirians page: "Mohammed Nazreen replaces injured Mohammed Ziyad who is out for the upcoming two entire series." Nazreen's inclusion will bolster Zahirians's bowling attack, which sorely lacked a genuine strike bowler during a disappointing start to their campaign in Nad-Al-Shiba last friday.
Mohammed Ziyad suffered a patella tendon tear shortly after Dubai Zahirian's home series against JBS SC began and was advised rest for up to a month. His participation in the Upcoming big series was in doubt, but the franchise chose to wait before taking a final call on his replacement.
Mohammed Nazreen, who came in to the Dubai Zahirians short format side in December 2009, has emerged as one of the team's best strike bowlers in the last few month. He had an outstanding 2009-10 home season, taking 16 wickets in ten Short format games, against Leading Clubs in united arab emirates. He also took 7 wickets in 2 tournements Al-Qusas and Ajman, the two teams and began the series in Sharja with a four-for in Ajman.

Rudder and Propulsion Called Faris and Hillal
Mohammed Faris was the rudder, Mohammed Hillal provided propulsion, and they combined for a 88-runs to total which charted Dubai Zahirians' course for success at the Nad-Al-Shiba Stadium.
The absence of major setbacks during injury's their usually efficient bowling attack failed.after wining the toss Dubai Zahirians are selected to bowl first.Shiba Riders had plenty of wickets in hand and looked set for 175-plus, but Razeen's returned and conceded onlyeight off the final over to keep them to well below that. In the end, 160 wasn't enough.
While Arafath was being steady opening with Hillal, what a rocket combinetion worked out. Hillal muscled 32 off 9 balls to hack away at the asking-rate, and Mohammed Faris ended it with Srilankan flair, flicking and pulling Nafeez for boundaries.he make notout 55 for 31 balls. Arafath finish his innings with 23 runs in 13 balls. Presure in a Moment DZCC regularly loosing 3 wickets in row Siraj,Rikaz and Razeen dismiss soon after blasting opening. However they manage victory with 1 wicket remining. trielenders Ayyub,Saflin and Raldeen suport nicely to finish.

Razmar breaks silence and is ready for Next Game
Mohammed Razmar has spoken publicly for the first time to DZCC official site since his sudden drop from last two series and his subsequent break-up with Dasthakir.Razmar fronted a packed media conference at DZCC's Conference room, where he mentioned the support he had received from Mohammed dasthakir the skipper and insisted the DZCC media frenzy following him and his former Career would not affect the focus on his cricket.
"I have spoken to Dastha," Razmar said. "I've spoken to a lot of my friends and team members. He's been a wonderful friend of mine for a long time and he was excited to see me back in UAE and wished me all the best for Friday's friendly match."
"I made the decision firstly to go home but then to come back to Dubai knowing that there was a big Friendly match starting on Friday," he said. "I knew I'd be capable to get up for that. Preparation has been very important to me throughout my whole career and it's no different now. Yesterday it was important to get back in the nets and have a good bat, see that red ball." Being back in the team environment will no doubt be a welcome change for Razmar.
"It's part of what we do," Razmar said. "Being a professional athlete it's not just about what you do on the field it's what you do off the field as well. We have to accept that and for me it was important to do what I had to do in my personal life and it's important for me now to be back with my team-mates and make sure I'm concentrating on playing a match for Dubai Zahirians."I'm sure I'll get a little bit of stick [from the Mates] but I don't mind that," Razmar said. "No matter where you go around the UAE, every Club wants their team to win and do well, so we'll wait and see what happens on Friday but I don't think that will affect me too much.

'We prepared ourselves well for winning' - Anas
DZCC Personel Advisor Mohammed Anas has said he is elated with his maiden series victory - 2-1 over Raffals D Hotel - and is pleased that batsmen apart from Mohammed Faris & Mohammed Hillal played important roles in the success.Dubai Zahirians lost the Jumeirah Battle and the first Game in last series but bounced back to win two matches in a row.
"Any time you win a series it is obviously a special moment. Rafals Dubai aren't rated highly, but neither are we so we couldn't have taken them for granted and we didn't take them for granted," Anas told, "We knew they were going to put up a good fight, but we sort of steeled ourselves for that. We prepared ourselves well for winning. Everybody in the dressing room, especially all those guys who were in Jumeirah when it was really difficult, are obviously very happy now with what we have done and achieved in this series."
"The Srilankan fans were obviously expecting better from us and we had to dig deep," Anas said. "It was good to see, apart from Faris, other batsmen making contributions and getting us over the line. Hillal did it on a couple of occasions and Mohammed Fayaz got an opportunity to go up the order and bat and show us what he can do." Anas said a key problem was the team's inability to win by a big margin when the opportunity presented itself: Dubai Zahirians lost six wickets while chasing small targets in each of the last two matches.
"Of course, we talked about winning handsomely and we were in a position to win handsomely one week ago [ Friday] and we sort of let it slip and the same thing again today [last friday] where we probably could've lost two or three wickets and won easily," Anas said. "But at the end of the day, a win is a win for a team like this which has found winning difficult over the last couple of series. "We will take our wins, but we also know that one [series] win doesn't make us a champion team. We got to keep growing as a team. We got to keep developing and learning from the little silly mistakes that we make so that when we get into other tough series, we would know how to handle ourselves in those situations."

Hurt Dubai Zahirians aim to bounce back
Match Facts Friday,
March 19, Rafals Hotel Ground
Start time 06:30 pm Local (GMT 2230)
Big Conference
Mohammed Malik Dubai Zahirians IT Supporter could not have begun on a worse note. In his two Domestic at the helm, DZCC has slumped to unprecedented lows - a defeat in the very first game two weeks ago between RSS the sides, and for the first time against Deira Eleven last week at home.
The series was meant as an opportunity to cast aside the memories of a winless tour of Al-Quses 2009 and begin a fresh phase with a dose of success. But the performance in the first game in Ajman, where three batsmen - Haithar, HIllal and Arafath - played irresponsibly to bungle a winnable position presents the hosts with a renewed headache. The Arafath played poor shots to be dismissed, and poor running between the wickets cost Dasthakir and Mohammed Siraj. It was the middle order that led the resistance, though inadequate, against Deira X1 in the 2-1 loss,For starters, Dasthakir's blunt description of the middle-order collapse as "crap" is a step in the right direction.
poor crowds and declining form, Dubai Zahirians are battling for pride against an opposition which, with each successful outing, is shoring up the resolve and determination to return from self-imposed exile.
Watch out for
Mohammed Nilaam was the best of Rafals's bowlers, Must Check his lack of variation. His strategy was to angle the ball in towards off stump, leaving little room for the batsman to get him away. Nilaam could prove a handful in the middle order.
Team news
An unexpected defeat is likely to prompt a change in plans for the hosts. Though Mohammed Siraj has not been named in the squad for Series,Mohammed Ziyad could take Mohammed Ralideen's place if he has recovered from an injured thumb;if not, Mohammed Fawzan could be drafted in. Mohammed sanaz, also not in the squad for the Series.
Dubai Zahirians (probable first eleven)
1.Dasthakir (Capt), 2.Razeen, 3.Rikaz, 4.Hillal, 5.Haithar, 6.Nazreen, 7.Ayyub, 8.Saflin, 9.Faris, 10.Ralideen, 11.Fayaz
Pitch and conditions
Semars are likely to feature prominently in friendly conditions in Rafals Ground and the forecast points towards a mostly good lights but windy day. A sluggish track, good look for fast bowlers and timing batsmans.
Quotes
"Dubai zahirians are still a good side. We still respect them. For us to beat them, we need to make sure that we play hard, remain focussed, pay attention to the small things, and remain disciplined." Rafals Skipper Nazeer said.
"When you do crap, it's definitely crap and there is no excuse. Guys have to take responsibility out there in the middle. It is just sad and disappointing."Mohammed dasthakir is straightforward in his Interview.
